OSINTVault is designed to be a fast, private, and powerful OSINT workspace that runs entirely in your browser. This means your data is stored locally on your device and never leaves it.

Key Features & Considerations:

• Privacy First: All your added data (tools, notes, entries, etc.) is stored only in your browser's local storage. It is NOT sent to any server. This ensures maximum privacy and control over your sensitive investigation data.
• Data Backup & Portability: Since data is local, it's crucial to export your data regularly! Use the "Export" button in the header (or below) to download a JSON backup of all your work. You can import this data on another device or after clearing your browser's data.
• Default Tools & Updates: Pre-added tools are loaded from a static file (`tools.json`). If you delete a pre-added tool, it will remain deleted in your local session. New pre-added tools (if the application updates) will be automatically added to your vault without overwriting your custom data.
• Sharing: The sharing feature generates a read-only link to your currently displayed data (or selected scope). The recipient will see a temporary, non-editable version of your data, and their changes will not be saved.
• Desktop Recommended: For optimal experience and full functionality, especially with rich text editing and multiple panels, we recommend using OSINTVault on a larger screen or desktop device.

Important Actions:

Use the "Reset" button with extreme caution. It will permanently delete your local data.
